Point, Click, Bang

Banging is relatively easy. You (re)move some clothing, align a few body parts, and you’re good to go. It’s finding someone to bang with that might present a challenge. Now, there’s a new app for Facebook and smartphones that is marketing itself as “the anonymous, simple, fun way to find friends who are down for the night.”A friend (who I was not banging) introduced me to Bang with Friends (or BWF) a few months ago. She said she had never tried it, but she’d read about it and knew how it worked. Although I wasn’t looking for anyone to bang, I was really interested in the app and immediately wanted to learn more about it.
In case you’re worried about all of your Facebook friends knowing that you’re on the prowl, according to the BWF website, “Your friends will never know you’re interested unless they are too!” It assures users that the service is “completely private & discreet until both friends are down to bang!” If you scroll down on the site, you’ll see a “How it works” section with three simple steps: 1. Get the app, 2. Select your sexy friends, and 3. Start banging. Sounds easy enough.
I convinced my fiancée to get the Facebook app with me so we could see how it works. (I would’ve rather tried out the smartphone app, but it has been removed from the Apple App Store.) As soon as I allowed BWF to access my Facebook info, I was presented with a page that read: “Skip the chatting, and get to smacking those cheeks! Which of your friends do you want to bang?” Below were pictures and names of my friends with a red “Down to bang” button underneath. The charming URL for this page was bangwithfriends.com/fuck.
After ten minutes of scouring through our friends, we were actually unable to find one another. And even though we had the “women” icon selected, it still showed us mostly guys. It seems BWF has some bugs to work out, but I can still (sort of) appreciate what the app is trying to do. Maybe this app could pave the way for some really great relationships (or, at the very least, some really interesting hookups).
Have you ever tried Bang with Friends? Would you? What do you think about the app?

There's an app a lot like this that's called Tinder. A bunch of my friends use it to meet people. It's the exact same premise of this app, just not as blatantly sexual. The only way someone knows you like them is if they like you also. A friend of mine actually met a guy through it. I think the app is harmless and pretty hysterical actually. I tried it out for a day just to see what happened and matched with some guys from my high school, then I deleted it because I just thought it was too weird haha
There's also another app like this. I think it's pretty gross.
I dunno, I've never seen the allure of the "I barely know you, let's have sex" thing let alone trying to meet up with random people from the internet. Perhaps I'm not trusting enough but you never know who's really on the other side of the screen.
I've actually seen more than a few apps like this, and it kind of grosses me out. My next boyfriend is definitely getting STD tested before I'm going to feel comfortable banging him lol.
