  • Have You Heard of a Dating Concierge?

Are you the sort of person who loves spending time with your significant other but hates planning? Do you have a desire to go on extravagant and inventive dates but not have the time to figure out the details? Well, you're in luck! Kahnoodle Concierge takes care of all of that. I happened to be searching the web and came across this website by accident. Apparently, the service interviews you and your significant other to find out what you both like as a couple, and then plans dates for you based on that information.

The services provide 24 phone and email support, they will call and schedule a babysitter for you, they'll make the reservations, etc. They plan everything, for a price, "We tailor each date to meet your budget and interest. Your concierge can plan dates that range from free to several hundreds of dollars. This means that if one month you want to splurge on an expensive date and the next you'd prefer to do something free or more affordable, we can ensure that you have an amazing time within your budget."

All you have to do is show up! The site claims it can cater a date perfectly to any couple's desires whether it's "Ice skating in DC’s Washington Harbour, wine tasting at a quaint B&B two hours outside of the city, or a chocolate and champagne pairing course followed by a jazz set at local speakeasy."

The website claims it will save you time, money, and keep your relationship "awesome" (their words, not mine). What do you all think? Do you think this is a good idea? Would you pay money for someone to plan a date for you and your significant other, or would you prefer to do things yourself? I think it's an interesting idea that I'd try maybe once for an anniversary but I don't know if I need someone to plan my dates for me! Leave your feedback below!

  • i get a concierge with my amex, as well as with my apartment building, and i've never used either...but yes i think a dating concierge would be good if i wasn't too type a to do all my planning myself.

  • That's a neat idea, but I wouldn't. It would feel impersonal.

  • I think it's a good idea if you're married with kids, but not if you're just dating someone. Because it is a bit impersonal.

  • i'm pretty sure my ideas are better than theirs. Cheese comes to mind, not awesome

  • I think it's an interesting idea. It could add some fresh ideas to dates for a couple if things are getting a bit blah in the date varieties or something.

  • I'm really finicky about details so I don't trust anyone to do the planning but myself. Planning for anything is 50% of the fun in my book
