He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not
So there's this boy. Let's call him... Drew.I've had a big crush on Drew for about two months. We're in the same drama and math classes. I was starting to lose hope in him liking me until a few weeks ago, when we both volunteered to be crew/ensemble for the other drama class's production. We bonded backstage, and every day he told me my hair was pretty and was always trying to sit next to me. We also had races to see who could change in and out of costumes faster. That went on for three days and then the next day, Drew asks for my number after chatting with me on Facebook for an hour. We ended up texting for four hours, until one in the morning, and then we texted for a while the next day.
He flirted with me a lot and asked me why I broke up with my last boyfriend, told me I was a great actress, etc. We also played truth or dare and he dared me to give him a hug every day for a week, and I dared him to walk me to my locker after Drama every day for a week (he walked with me but the hugs didn't happen). We've been texting a little since then, but for the most part we talk during class. He also walks with me every day to my locker, and last week walked with me to math (I had to stop walking with him to math because my friend who I normally walk with was by herself). We also share a math book in class, and he's always teasing me.
Unfortunately, before all of this bonding happened, he asked another girl to junior prom. I am a sophomore, so I can't go to prom unless I am asked, which I wasn't. His locker is right next to hers, and so he sees her all the time and talks to her a lot. However, my friend brought up the point that he probably feels like he needs to talk to her because she's his prom date, and he can't just ignore her. He also can't take back the prom invitation.
So, I'm pretty jealous. Prom is on Saturday and I'm going to be a wreck all night. But does it seem like he likes me back? Apparently he knows I like him, but he hasn't said anything.

lol. kids these days.
@TheNotoriousGOD@xanga - word.
Aww.... He seems like a sweet kid and you should have hugged him. Anyway, find something to do on prom night to try and keep your mind off it. Sounds like he will be thinking of you the whole time anyway. Just take it easy!
Aw this is adorable especially the dares!
It's obvious he likes you by his actions or he's a big tease and likes to lead girls on. When Saturday approaches, keep yourself occupy and enjoy your day off from school. When Monday comes around and you see him, ask him how went and go from there. Why don't you invite him over for a movie night or some sort?
Don't be jealous. Simply wait it out until after prom, and ask him how he feels. Keeping it all in the background doesn't help anyone. But don't crush prom for them. Wait it out, and let him know how you feel, and give him a moment to explain how he feels. Best wishes!
